- Where can I make a free forum with 'adult' content?

I'm a member of an RPG forum that has been running for about 2 years. Unfortunately, we've just found out that we can't use Proboards for it in its intended format. We do have some adult content in threads (mild sexual content, swearing, violence, etc) and have been told that that content, while password-protected so that only the creators can view it, is not acceptable. As our forum is a vampire-based one, it's hard to eliminate all of that sort of thing without badly affecting the stories and characters themselves, so we're trying to find another place to have our forum. The main problem is that we have no budget at all and so need a free forum.
Can anyone suggest a site that allows:
-free forum creation
-adult content
-customisation (so that we can use our own banner and backgrounds, etc)
-age verification and membership (to make the site members-only)
-password protection on individual boards
-doesn't require a host (since we have no budget for that either) ?
I must point out that we are *not* an adult site. There is no pornography allowed, or similar content, the only sexual content is any that is vital to the story, and then only 'behind closed doors' (ie password-protected). We have had minors as members in the past and always make sure to make every effort to ensure they don't come across anything inappropriate. For this reason, we do need some form of age verification and membership system (such as on proboards), as well as password capabilities.
I'm aware that PhpBB is an option, since the forum itself is free, but then that leaves the problem of hosting, and it's also extremely complicated to understand (I'm a novice at this sort of thing).
In a nutshell, I'm essentially looking for an alternative to proboards, with the same or similar setup and features, but allowing more freedom on content.
